now

Making it good enough to carry every day: battery through a full day with suspend, speed, and Android apps through Waydroid.

what's there

  • Boots a mainline kernel on the Pixel 5a, with display, touch and haptics brought up for this phone.
  • Its own Quickshell shell: home, shade, lock, an app drawer that doubles as a command line, and a capsule around the camera hole that shows running jobs, music and timers.
  • Every setting is a plain TOML file with live reload; the settings screens are editors for those files.
  • Agents connect over MCP (built and tested with Hermes Agent); the shell marks the screen while one acts, asks before anything risky, and Stop always works.
  • A package app for installing and updating Arch packages, approved with the lock-screen PIN.

limits

  • In development and not daily-drivable yet: suspend, mobile data and calls are still being worked on.
  • The source is not public yet.
