Why this site became a workshop again
The polished consultancy version was competent but too narrow. The redesign restores project breadth, technical identity and the unfinished work around the edges.
The previous portfolio was well built, but its consultancy framing turned a broad body of work into three approved case studies and a qualification funnel. It looked professional while feeling less like the person doing the building.
The public workshop keeps the stronger accessibility, responsive behaviour and evidence from that version, then restores what the original site did well: terminal identity, repository breadth, visible activity and room for unfinished work.
The important change is structural rather than decorative. Home is an entrance again. Projects, Lab, Notes and About each own a distinct route instead of becoming sections in one long marketing page.
